Background:
Rafael Nery was born in 1988. He started guitar at the age of 13, influenced by bands like Angra, Iron Maiden and Mr Big. He started studying guitar with some local friends.

Later he became a pupil of Marco Collona for six months. At the same time he formed an Iron Maiden cover band and decided to follow a career as a professional musician.

His main influences include Paul Gilbert, Richie Kotzen, Jeff Beck, Greg Howe, Kiko Loureiro, Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Morse.
