Super drummer, Virgil Donati, posted this eight minute slab of hot "baked potato" fusion as CAB, that's Bunny Brunel, Steve Weingart, Virgil Donati and Tony MacAlpine with a guest "birthday bash" appearance by Billy Sheehan burning it up at the Baked Potato.

Devil's Slingshot gig at Sneek, The Netherlands, November 16th 2007.

The guys were playing a Planet X song called Dog Boots but Virgil was having a problem with his left bass drum pedal so he couldn't play all of those double notes with his left foot. He decided to quit the song and get it fixed.

Meanwhile, Billy and Tony decided to entertain the crowd! :D

The show was REALLY good, all of the guys were on FIRE, especially Virgil!

Tony MacAlpine is on tour with Michel Polnareff and he and Virgil are working on a lot of material together on their downtime. They will be working in the studio once they're back in the USA. The CD will be called "Clinophobia" (Clinophobia, also known as Somniphobia, is the fear of falling asleep). Tony hasn't canceled his solo CD, but he and Virgil and Billy are going to release a Devil's Slingshot studio album and then tour it before Tony releases his next solo album. Tony continues to write new material while he's on the road, so I'm sure a lot of that will become part of both releases. Also there will be no Zoetermeer live CD.

"Tony MacAlpine, tours the Carvin HQ: On a recent stop to the Carvin warehouse, guitarist Tony MacAlpine discussed some of his upcoming events and projects. 'I will be on tour with my solo band in Europe starting on September 1st. It will be a trio with Virgil Donati on drums and Billy Sheehan on bass and we will play material from my earliest CD's like "Maximum Security" as well as newer songs from "Chromaticity". On July 19 I will be leaving for Japan with Steve Vai for the UDO Rock Festival in Japan. The festival will have Godsmack and Santana among others. Background:
Tony MacAlpine was born on August 29, 1960 in Springfield, Massachusetts. His initial releases showed his ability to play neo-classical guitar to an amazing level and he could do the same on keyboards or piano too. Tony is also a classically trained pianist. Tony broadend his appeal by moving into a more fusion direction and is currently playing guitars and keyboards in the band Steve Vai and The Breed.

He has also played in or with:
Project Driver, CAB, PlanetX, Vitalij Kuprij, Ring Of Fire.
